The author, Robin Nuzum, spent most of her life in a Midwestern town in Indiana. She has since semi-retired to sunny Florida. She loves spending time with her family and the beach is her happy place. She has a BA in English and Creative Writing and has taken classes in writing children’s books, poetry, fiction, non-fiction and English; she sees learning as a never-ending adventure. Her writing focuses on life changes and personal growth. Writing women's fiction is where she gets joy from, hopefully helping another person have hope, inspiration and enjoyment. Robin has had many real-life experiences that led her to write her first book, Hummingbird Haven. The first book is about seventy percent taken from living through the experiences. She is continuing a series of Hummingbird Haven that will continue her character, Renee’s life after the first book. Robin will also have a children’s collection. Writing that connects to everyday scenarios that people can relate to in their lives but also be entertaining is my favorite kind of writing. The themes might help someone feel less alone in their own problems. I also like to have some unexpected twists that a reader might love or hate which I have been told is the case to be careful executing.
